Christina Preston is a multi-award-winning California artist of Mexican, English, and Norwegian descent. Her artistic background started as a young girl when her mother taught her painting and ceramics. Before attending university, Preston was a San Francisco Circus Arts student, where she learned static trapeze and dance. Preston enjoys photography, mosaic, found art, and mixed-media creations from watercolor and ink. As a California naturalist and diver, she draws her inspiration from the natural world.

Preston also has an M.Sc. in community and regional development from UC Davis and a B.A. in anthropology with training in art from Stanford University.

She lives in the foothills of Northern California on a ranch with a menagerie of rescued animals, from peacocks to tortoises. Christina Preston has founded an art scholarship in honor of her mother, Donna E. Preston.
